The IM man’s purpose is excellence in all things through surrender to Jesus Christ. Intentional Men is a meeting of men who intend to plumb the practical benefits of the Christian faith in order to experience the highest, best, and fullest life that each can possibly experience, which is the life that Jesus Christ promised to those surrendered to his lordship. We aim to go on this journey together, committed to the unity inspired by the Holy Spirit and to build deep and meaningful relationships. Our shared purpose is intentionally to put one foot in front of the other on the path of character development and, over the course of time, to become better and better versions of ourselves, until, like the Psalmist, we can say sincerely that God has placed our feet on high places and that our feet do not slip in the areas where we must succeed. We come as we are, not expecting to be perfect or to become perfect, but simply to begin here, wherever that is for each of us individually, and to intentionally move forward from there, little by little, towards the individual excellence offered in Christ.
